We believe the strongest experiences are created when nature is respected, groups are kept small, and time is allowed to slow down. Our goal is not to rush through the wilderness, but to invite our guests into it — safely, responsibly and with genuine insight.

Every tour is guided with care, authenticity and a deep connection to Reisa National Park, ensuring meaningful experiences that stay with you long after the journey ends.

Our season runs from early June to late September, depending on river and weather conditions.

It depends on the destination. Trips to Mollisfossen usually last about 3 hours.

You can book through our online booking system, by email, or by phone.
For the easiest and quickest experience, we recommend booking online — you’ll also save 100 NOK compared to manual booking.

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially during the high season, to secure a spot.

Dress according to the weather and bring warm layers, even in summer. Waterproof clothing is recommended. Don’t forget your camera! If the weather is hot, consider bringing swimwear – taking a dip near Mollisfossen is an unforgettable experience.

Cell phone reception at the pick-up point is very limited, and once we head up the river there is no coverage at all.

Yes, most trips are family-friendly. Children must wear life jackets (provided by us) and be accompanied by an adult.

Some of our tours require a minimum number of participants or a minimum total price in order to operate.
On Mollis and Imo tour we operate with a minimum price per trip.
If you are only 2 people, you can still book the tour by selecting 2 adults and 1 child in the booking system to meet the minimum price.
If additional guests later join the same tour and the minimum requirement is met, we will automatically refund the amount you paid for the extra seat(s).
Please note that Reisabåt reserves the right to fill available seats on the boat with other participants.

Yes, as long as your dog is comfortable on a boat and you have full control.

Safety is our top priority. All passengers are provided with life jackets, and our guides are experienced boat operators with extensive local knowledge.

Our guides speak Norwegian and English.

We operate in most weather conditions, but safety always comes first. In case of unsafe conditions, we will reschedule or offer a full refund.

Yes, all trips must be paid in full before departure.

Lunch is not included on standard trips, but for an additional fee, we can provide local food as part of your trip. You’re also welcome to bring your own packed lunch. Just let us know your preferences when booking!

For more details about Reisa National Park, we recommend visiting the official Reisa National Park website. It offers a great overview of what the park has to offer.

Water levels are measured at Svartfossberget. You can check live measurements on the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate’s website: Current water levels – Reisa River.

When the level drops below 2 meters, navigation can be more challenging and may affect trips. If the level goes below 1.5 meters, unfortunately, we’re not able to operate tours because of damage to our boats and increase in maintenance needs.

RIVERBOAT TRIP

Mollis Waterfall

Guided riverboat trip to one of Northern Norway’s most impressive waterfalls.

We travel upriver in Reisa National Park in traditional riverboats through a wide and scenic valley, surrounded by mountains, forest and changing nature. Along the way, your guide shares stories about life on the river and the history of the area.

After about 20 km, we arrive at Mollisfossen — one of the tallest waterfalls in Northern Norway. We take time to walk closer, enjoy the view and take photos.

During the trip, we stop to light a fire and enjoy a warm drink in peaceful surroundings.

The pace is calm and unhurried, giving you time to truly experience the river and the silence around you.
